This hotel charged a deposit for incidentals or damage. This deposit was substantially higher than all the other hotels I stayed at during a cross country trip. They said my deposit would be refunded in 5-6 days. I did not damage the room or have any incidental charges. When I checked my credit card statement 11 days after my stay I saw that they had not refunded my deposit. I phoned the hotel and asked them about it. They said I smoked in the room so they were keeping my deposit. I do not smoke, nor does my travel companion. We did not even light a match in that room. When I disputed this with the assistant manager he just said I signed a paper stating I wouldn’t smoke. He was very disagreeable and did not offer any hope that they would return my deposit. I suspect this is a scam and a way to overcharge for mediocre lodging. Travelers beware!!!

Awesome staff! Room was clean. Slider door on first floor allows easy access to your car. If you’re on the second floor, you get a balcony as a trade-off. Bar, food, and convenience store less than 5 min walk.

This is a beautiful, unique hotel. The grounds, pool, and outside yard are very well kept. Parking was easy. Employees are friendly and helpful.
