"Glencoe is a lovely old house with spacious rooms and high ceilings. Irene was extremely welcoming and informative. The room was comfortable with a really comfortable bed. The ensuite was on the small size, but that is hardly surprising as the house would not originally have been built with one and it was certainly not a problem so long as there was only one person in it at a time. I wouldn't mark it down for that. Catering for breakfast was superb with no chance of leaving the table hungry. The...

"The Hobbit Cottage is a charming jewel. The host provided fresh eggs, ham, bread, apple cider and fresh pasteurized milk for breakfast. The host is gracious and gave us excellent tips for hikes. At night the stars are tremendous. An excellent stay!!!"
