"This property is tired and dated and while they've tried to spruce it up a bit, the mould in the bathroom should not be there and the towels are old and threadbare. The sound insulation between rooms was terrible. We will not stay here again."

"We stopped here on our way across Cevennes to the Alps on a motorcycle tour. The Hotel was absolutely perfect for us, it is right in the village but tucked away with plenty of parking off street and out of sight. The room was fantastic, really nice and clean and very comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful and the swimming pool very handy in the French Heatwave. "This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. The house has a well equipped kitchen, good lighting, a comfy sofa for evenings and a very good bed. The porch offers a fine view of the river and canyon and is great for eating out. Clare and Alex have worked hard to make this a five-star experience, and we appreciate their hospitality."
