"O quarto é muito barulhento, tinha galo cantando de madrugada, música alta, gente gritando, impossível de dormir. Fora isso, a pousada tem vários recados espalhados do tipo: se manchar a toalha terá que pagar, se deixar o ar condicionado ligado terá que pagar, achei bem inconveniente."

Sebastian and his daughter Lima take very much care of their pousada and their guests to make them feel comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruits, bread and eggs. The Pousada is a few yards from the beach, close enough to the city of Trancoso to have a nice diner, but far enough to rest and forget about the world for a few days. "The property is nice. It is by the ocean. They made an effort to upgrade it. But it still feels they are trying to be upscale on a budget. The furniture is not top and some pieces have some obvious defects. We stayed in a garden room. Feels small. The "garden view" is really a view to a fence with some plants to make it green."

"We enjoyed a tranquil 4 days at the Villas de Trancoso, taking long walks on the beach, eating and drinking well, and stargazing from the hotel grounds. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and made good recommendations for restaurants in town. They organized all of our ground transportation as well."
