"This is a resort that is best suited for a family get away. It is a great place to go and detox from the chaos of the normal rat race and have beautiful bonding moments with the family. We took the kids for a 5 day break and thoroughly enjoyed it. "

"Quiet Luxury - we had a fantastic stay at the resort. The service was incredible and the pool area and spa facilities were also top notch. Location wise, it was also perfect and the bay was beautifully calm and well kept. The room was so spacious and felt well kept and brand new. Small touches throughout the day added to the general feeling of luxury, such as small amenities being given during turn downs or food and drinks being served at the pool and beach throughout the day. Room for improvement would only be two points - particularly on the comfort of the bed. Being on a babymoon, my wife found the mattress toppers uncomfortable. Food was very good overall however I do think it can be slightly improved to match the high class levels of the resort as a whole. Nothing of this takes away from the fact that we had an incredible stay and would not hesitate to return to this resort, it was an incredible overall experience."

"We were upgraded to a fabulous 2 bed suite. The staff are amazing, so helpful. The restaurants produce high quality food. We’ve stayed in this hotel before and it is consistently a high quality experience. The downsides are low water pressure which meant showering takes a long time and the condition of the beach, lots of plastic debris and there was an algae bloom during our trip, completely out of anyone’s control of course, but the beach should be cleaned daily. The hotel should focus more on reducing the use of single use plastic water bottles, they use 1000’s a day and there are better, more cost effective options. . Oman is expensive to visit so travellers should be aware of the costs involved when planning their trip. We used to live here so were prepared."

"It was a wondrful stay , but only issue if you order taxi fron otaxi they will not allow them to come inside you have ti go out side Had an absolutely pleasant stay at Chedi Muscat , super welcoming staff , great place with so many activities. The only issue we faced was the transportation, unreasonable prices to be honest you cant book a taxi from outside the hotel or you need to walk all the way to the gate to reach your transportation ! So i highly recommend renting a car before going there ."
