"The hotel staff, from check-in to the beach, were always kind and helpful. The beach is right in front of the hotel, and they provide chairs, umbrellas, and towels. It’s also nice to go to the pool after the beach. The food at the hotel is very expensive, but there are cheaper restaurants and cafés nearby. "The Wave Hotel was well located - easy walk to the beach and La plazita. Short cab ride to T-Mobile district, Walmart and Old San Juan. The customer service and housekeeping was second to none. Only minor issues include the hot tube was not working, towels were quite old and thin and the pillows should be replaced. Otherwise a great experience. Will rebook when I revisit Puerto Rico. "

"Large property right across the street from the beach. Lots of activities on the property including a large pool. Bathrooms and rooms are a little outdated but in good shape. No A/C but the breeze from the ocean keeps things cool during the evening. The house is from the 50s so its older, but considering all its been through, its in good shape. Lost power on our last night there but this is a common occurrence anywhere you go in PR."
