"This Villa has an amazing pool and grounds which were idyllic. The town is a short walk away, and we did not need a hire car. We used a taxi for a day out in Corfu town. We were treated like returning friends. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyday we received a little food treat. Our hosts very discreetly acted in the background to keep everything in order. Would most highly recommend 😊"

"good sized villa but you will need a car as in a quiet location with direct beach access. mid week clean was an unexpected welcome surprise and caroline the manager was excellent and helpful. will definitely be returning sometime. the only negative was the TV sound was broken but we had our own speaker so used that with a laptop instead for when the children wanted a movie night in."

"Compact but enough space for two. The view from the bedroom balcony as shown on the advert is stunning. The downside is that the property is right on the main road so traffic noise is unavoidable and there is no adjacent car parking. Your car has to be parked at the side of the road 100m away opposite Dimitri's restaurant. Our car was hit while there. However, Dimitri's restaurant is excellent but booking ahead is essential."

"This is a lovely apartment with everything you need for a longer stay. There was even a few coffee capsules to get you started and wine & beer in the fridge. Lots of towels, rooms were very clean, and the terrace is amazing, couches, table & chairs. We ate all our meals there watching the evening sunsets, and early morning breakfasts. "Il proprietario è stato molto gentile nel mostrarci la casa che è meravigliosamente arredata e immersa nel verde, non manca proprio nulla! Forse un po’ scomodo per via della strada piena di tornanti, ma questo non ci ha impedito di visitare tutta l’isola. "The wifi didn’t work unless I held my phone out the window.The shower is disgustig.Its a black hole with a mouldy rubber mat hanging off the dirty shower curtain rail.There was nowhere to hang the towel.The bed cover was dirty and had lots of stains on it.It advertised outside area which there is not.There was no hot water until I texted owner and he then advised I need to flick the switch in the power box.This apartment is not fit for renting "

"Villa was nice and clean and the pool was really lovely. The views from the pool and the rest of the villa were spectacular . The air con was a blessing as it was in the mid 30s every day . The kitchen was a bit dated but perfectly usable. The beaches were great with crystal waters( you might want to get beach shoes if you have sensitive feet as the beaches are mostly pebbles) All in all we had a highly enjoyable and relaxing time at villa Amalia ."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Castilli Cottage, taking in the breath-taking vistas and enjoying the simple and well appointed cottage. While removed from the hustle bustle of the town below, everything is still within close proximity- beautiful hikes along the coast, delicious food at local tavernas and endless panaramas. "Fantastic property with an amazing view and pool. Very private location with short walk to the beach and many very good restaurants. The owner, Dinos, was great at communicating with me. "Arriving late at night the property is not easy to find a labyrinth of paths and steps to navigate in the dark ! The property is well equipped but could do with a new mattress on the double bed and the air conditioning in the main room needs maintenance as it kept cutting out and not maintaining a cool temperature! The shower outlet needs to be cleaned out so that it drains away rather than coming back up the drain in the floor! Barbati has good restaurants and supermarkets supply essentials...
