"Lovely place owned by lovely people. Apartment was clean and equipped with basic appliances- everything we needed. No TV might be a surprise for some, but we were happy with that. Patio and the garden with play area for kids were very handy. All in all, great place for either families or singles/ couples. "

"As charming and comfortable as the photos suggest. Separate entrances for all but two rooms also gave each of our family subgroups extra privacy, while the large and comfortable common areas provided plenty of space to gather, play fishbowl, or read and relax together. "The cottage is small, but quaint, characterful and very peaceful. Inside the dark wooden beams make everything look a little dark, but it's comfortable. Kitchen equipment is a little dated, but it all works. The a/c works well. The front patio has very nice partial views of the sea, about 200m away across a field. "We were able to access property easily and slightly earlier than arranged. Very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. Pool and gardens are well kept and clean. Absolutely fabulous location and views. Beach, groceries and tavernas all within walking distance. I noted a few reviews mentioning the bins being off site which they are however the super friendly gardener will take rubbish for you so it’s really not a problem. Kalami bay is beautiful. "The rocky shoreline just in front of the property was fantastic for wild swimming and snorkeling, and the views across the channel to Albania were spectacular. There was quite a lot of music and noise audible all day from the sound system at a neighboring resort, which did disrupt the peaceful atmosphere somewhat, and access to a car was essential as there were extremely limited facilities within walking distance, especially early on in the season when we visited."

"We just returned from a relaxing week at picturesque Paleopetres resort that exceeded our expectations! Joanne made the entire process from booking to check-in extremely easy, she is a great communicator and goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are happy. "Arriving late at night the property is not easy to find a labyrinth of paths and steps to navigate in the dark ! The property is well equipped but could do with a new mattress on the double bed and the air conditioning in the main room needs maintenance as it kept cutting out and not maintaining a cool temperature! The shower outlet needs to be cleaned out so that it drains away rather than coming back up the drain in the floor! Barbati has good restaurants and supermarkets supply essentials...
