"We were absolutely delighted with Agriturismo Sasso Rosso. First of all, their location, midway between Assisi and Spello on a quiet road is wonderful. The place is actually a small farm and produces olive oil, several varieties of wine and a very good grappa. Claudia is a wonderful hostess, friendly and engaging. "The farm is located just outside of Perugia and well positioned if you want to visit different towns in the area such as Assisi. The hosts do not serve a breakfast but rather leave you items in the fridge and in a basket. On one occassion we received fresh eggs. We enjoyed our stay "

"We had a wonderful time staying at Maria Rosa’s as a family of 6 with 4 kids 11 & younger. It was a great price & had everything we needed for a week long stay. It was a nice place to use as a home base for exploring the area of Umbria (Don’t miss Assisi! It is amazing!) There was a well loved pool table & foosball table that our kids greatly enjoyed. We were able to cook with all the pots & pans we needed & the water was hot for showers. Keep in mind you definitely need a car & this is a well...
