"I have done a fair bit of traveling and stayed at many hotels, inns, and hostels over the years…and I can confidently say this may have been the worst stay of them all. The location is fine; it’s close to many shops and restaurants. And it’s across a small street from the beach. Those are the only positives I can mention. "Lovely staff and amazing location to explore El Nido. The breakfast was good with a nice view. There were a few minor imperfections with the hotel room - squeaky bed, rattling windows and grimy bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the Aqua Lodge for a good price and would recommend."

"Beautiful view of the mountains, cliffs and the water. Right in the middle of everything you need. The only turning point is the smell of the canal leading to the hotel. I think it’s from the small houses at the back of the hotel."
