"Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "This was a great location - very close to frequent rail connecting to tube - fairly close to two tube stations. "I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"A great house, very comfortable. Great quality. Needed more of a hoover and one wasn’t available for us to keep on top of this throughout our stay but otherwise very good."

"We traveled around Europe for three weeks ans this was mine, my husbands and my three kids favorite place we stayed. It was like living in a magical fairytale and waking up every day in the most beautiful place. My kids loved walking around the lake om the property and spending time with the cows and sheep. "wow wow wow. our stay was exceptional in all ways from the serenity of the beautiful countryside and hearing the sounds of the sheep cows and horses. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped and exceptionaly clean with very high standards in all the furnishings Farmer Tim and his wife were delightful people and very accommodating. we asked for a tea pot. next there there is a tea pot waiting for us at our front door nothing wa to much trouble for them. we will definitely be retuning...

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"Just back from a wonderful weekend! Hamish was the perfect host. The best welcome pack ever !!!! Pictures do not do little Hideaway justice. I don’t think there would be anything you could need or want and it not be there. Absolutely Spotless and in a perfect location. We cannot recommend highly enough and given the opportunity will be back."
