My friend celebrated her birthday here and it was perfect. Hotel is about 40 mins north of Ubud centre bit remote but views to die for. Very peaceful and serene. I will return."

Staff were really nice and helpful, the night watch man booked a dolphin watching trip for me at the same price as it would have been in town, and I was picked up by the boat right in front of the hotel. "This is a truly beautiful property. It looks beautiful in the photos, but somehow even better in real life. The house is lovely and the gardens are incredible. What really makes this stay deserve all the stars are the staff. Everyone we met was lovely and kind and were extremely attentive without being overbearing. The north can't compete with the south for restaurants but it really doesn't need to when you can have Kadek's cooking. Please can she write a recipe book? We often discuss how much we are missing her food!"
