"This is a beautiful resort set in the hills outside Ubud. As well as the spectacular location, there is a lovely spa, great restaurant but above all the staff were some of the kindest and most friendly I have ever encountered. "

"Overall nice place to stay. The staff were amazing and always willing to make anything we wanted to eat. Grounds were well maintained and the pool was nice. Be aware that the pool is shallow and has a quick drop off. So if you have small children, just be aware. Otherwise we had a great time."

"Such a beautiful place to stay. Everything was well maintained. Just be aware that it is a long windy road to the north. If you get motion sickness, make sure you take meds for motion sickness. The highlight of the stay was the staff. Especially Ms. Ketut. She was amazing. Even when some of us got sick, Ms. Ketut took care of us. Anything we needed, she got it done. Thank you Mr. Ketut for arranging everything. I recommend you bring Imodium AD for stomach issues and tons of insect repellant. If you like to snorkel, I recommend you bring your own gear. Overall we had a great stay. I will definitely be coming back."

"Our goal was to tune out and relax at a private no noise safe environment. Absolutely achieved. Pablo the driver picked us up on time with a smile on his face. Wayan the house keeper and cook was an amenity you should take advantage of. We quickly realized that Wayan was as good a cook as any restaurant. So we stayed at the villa and enjoyed Wayans cooking, why bother going out at night and try to navigate a menu. The location and villa was nice, the view was great, the pool grounds and security. "We arrived at Villa Bundar at midnight, after a 25-hour journey, to a delicious meal of chicken, rice and vegetables. The following morning we were treated to a complementary Balinese massage at the Villa. There followed quite a few more after that! Our aim in coming here was to simply relax and recuperate after a busy year and we have been able to do exactly that. We have been waited on hand and foot by Ketut and her staff, the meals cooked for us have been delicious and nothing has been too much trouble. The few outings with Ketut, the driver, were very enjoyable, especially the coffee and rice fields trip. We can recommend the 10th Table restaurant and for a special occasion, Damai, which also offers high quality Balinese food. We found the information in the book to be most useful and the drivers have always been punctual and polite. We should like to thank all at Villa Bundar for their attention to our every need. It’s been such a lovely holiday."
