"Nice size hotel but on a very narrow plot. The beds on the beach were about six rows deep and the ones around the pool were four deep. The sun beds were good but the umbrellas were too small to supply enough shade and you couldn’t move them. Breakfast was good although coffee from the machines was average. Lots of variety and choice in each section. Staff were lovely. We had booked a deluxe room and were very grateful as they are on the ground floor and open directly on to the gardens. They have enough outdoor space for two sun beds, an umbrella and a table and two chairs. We spent most days sitting here as it was lovely and peaceful. The room was large, freshly decorated, with a good size bathroom and excellent shower. Towels were new and fluffy. the king sized bed was at least Emperor sized as it was two queens together so 10’ wide! Hilarious . Housekeeping was hit and miss, the room often not being cleaned until mid afternoon and one day not at all until chased. The gym was really not up to scratch. Small with very old machines and the exchangeable hand holds were missing so we couldn’t use most of them. The mats were dirty and ripped. Very disappointing as everything else was great."

"For only two people this house is definitely too big. We knew it from the beginning, but its surroundings made us to decide to go there anyway for nearly 2 weeks. And we did not regret our decision.From the very beginning – the one way transfer from Phuket airport is included and very easy – we felt at home in this nice house: A big and clean pool, with a well maintained garden to observe squirrels and chipmunks as well as many exotic birds. Additional due to sufficient ameneties in the kitchen there is everything to make your stay very comfortable. Since my wife has some problems with shiftet disks the state of the mattresses are important for her. And they where indeed extremly comfortable causing a good quality sleep. From the house you need to walk only less than 10 minutes to reach everything. Small supermarkets, the night market (for us a little too much on the touristtrap side), lots of nice restaurants, a small but interesting tsunami museum and the pleasant beach. So the time we had there went by very fast. To a most likely self induced problem with a door lock from our side we got very fast help from the housekeeper and the entire communication with the owner was friendly and helpful. So although this house is „oversizing“ us by far we definitely would choose it again when deciding to return to Khao Lak. So Jackie, thank you very much having us there. "The pool was the best part of this property along with its proximity to the beach……. The room decor was tired but it was kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was limited but tasty but no other meals/ bar was offered. However khao lak is full of great cafes bars and restaurants. "

"A gem. All the staff were amazing and always smiled. Most spoke some English. The front desk staff were particularly helpful in arranging for us to be picked up at the airport with our name on a sign and upgraded us to a beachfront bungalow. This made our trip. Beds were the most comfortable in Thailand and real coffee in the room. Great location and easy to walk a to stores, restaurants. The resort is on the ocean but to swim or do long walks you need to walk less than 5 minutes. This was not a problem for us. Breakfast buffet one of the best we have had in Thailand."
