Mostly acceptable for budget accomodation in Asia. Daily housekeeping though is a bit of a fallacy. I was there for 5 days, and only had housekeeping on the 4th day because I made a specific point of it to the front desk staff. On the 3rd day I had to ask for a new roll of toilet paper. The 4th floor seems to be connected to some sort of plant/machinery room, which made it so hot in the hallway! There was also a bucket in the middle of the hallway, clearly placed to catch some sort of ceiling leak. The electronic key consistently failed to work, which has you going backwards and forwards between the room and front desk to have it reprogrammed. The air conditioning was slow to cool. The bathroom pipes were slow to drain, and the sheets were stained with some sort of blue ink. Again, all pretty standard for budget accomodation in Asia. The parts where it wasn't quite standard were the night I came in to find the front desk attendant fooling around with a guy behind the desk, or the prevalence of working-girls in the downstairs bar... But hey, each to their own I guess.
