Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The only real pro this Accor Group hotel has is the convenient location next to MBK & National Stadium BTS.
Cons/Real Deal Issues:
Mercure Siam Bangkok is crammed in same building as Ibis, Requires 2 Separate Slow Cramped Smelly Elevators to get to Room i.e Take Floor Elevator to 8th or 9th Then Take Another to Your Room.
Sham bad faith hotel does Not Allow Refunds Before Checking In or During Stay When Guests Realize How Bad a Choice They Made After Arrival To See In Person.
Constant Nasty Bergamot Body Odor Smell Everywhere.
Room was Humid, Stuffy, Poor Ventilation in Bathroom and Room in General so Water Barely Evaporates, No Option to Open Windows. Shower Drains Slowly, Sink blasts water everywhere.
Bad Room Layout: Door Entry Way Crosses Bathroom Entry Way so Floor Always Dirty, Grimy, Tainted when going to Bathroom or Closet Safe. Cannot Avoid This Issue.
Breakfast was not good and bland, overpriced for what it offers.
No On Site Laundry Facilities or In House Services! Hotel uses expensive 3rd party vendor who charges by the piece.
Manager doesn’t care about complaints or why guests want justified partial refunds or cancellation, Anti Guest Anti Customer, Watch Out!
Floor Level hotel 7-11 seems neat at first but selection limited and always swarmed by sweaty smells, massive backpacks and tourists cramming blocking way or smoking outside, a bad look for hotel. Better off using other better nearby 7-11s
Do Not Book Mercure Siam Bangkok!
