The Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit is a very well managed 5-star hotel conveniently located close to public transport, malls, restaurants, etc, with easy access to different corners of Bangkok (proximity to the train station was important to me, and incredibly helpful). The room was very nice - good amenities and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and supportive. The restaurants cater good food and drinks, with friendly service; the rooftop bar features an ok ambiance with stunning views. Opportunities to improve are service levels in the restaurant and bar; things took long to the extent that you'reclearly . Else, further investment into gym apparatus would be appreciated. I really enjoyed my stay, thanks!!, and will be back, however, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for families as it sits between two shady neighbourhoods.

Perfectly located property in the middle of Bangkok within close walking distance of Terminal 21 mall. Very satisfying breakfast buffet and the rooms are both spacious and extremely comfortable. Excellent hotel.

Some bad but mostly good
Room was small but comfortable. No hot water and not fully fixed by engineering. Water turned cold or extremely hot suddenly in the middle of a shower. Offerings in the regency lounge was pathetic but breakfast at the market café was very good. But service was exceptional throughout. Also please have non slip rubber mat in the shower. The floor is dangerously slippery.

Nice place and location but bad cleaning
Service, location, design are really really good!! Only downside was the cleanliness and maintenance. Shower head was mouldy, and the tile parts of the floor were not properly cleaned. Was excited to use the bathtub until I rolled up the blinds and the sun showed me all the streaks on it from the substandard cleaning..... Worst of all there was a spot of poop inside the toilet bowl when we lifted the seat. Feedback was given to the staff but they either didn't send up cleaners or the cleaners didn't do a good job again. Really a waste since I love the location and the look of the place. There's a sheltered walkway all the way to the BTS station. Would stay again IF the cleaning standards were majorly improved.
