What a pity! This is a brand new place, super clean, modern, cheap, and in a great location. It would be an easy choice for returning customers if management didn't make such an effort to kill repeated business. The biggest issue, perhaps the only dealbreaker is that the lobby is left unattended most of the day. There is a number to call but what if you lock yourself out of your room? The phone in the lobby doesn't make external calls. What if you do not have your cell phone with you or can't make roaming calls? To make things worse, a sign claims the staff will be back in 15 minutes. Some arriving guests apparently believed that and waited one hour to check in. Lucky for them I was passing by and called the staff on my cell. This happened in the middle of the afternoon, well within check in time. In addition to the absentee staff, my room had a serious ant problem, housekeeping was not available between 11am and 3pm (more like until 5 pm in my experience) and I could not connect Chromecast or my wireless router to the wifi, which was otherwise very good. This hotel does not have an elevator but it seems factored in the room price. I was on the third floor which wasn't bad.
