"Booked an executive suite room of 60 sq m. I thought it was a big room but there was a rooftop with the upper and lower floors being 30 30 sq m. The details were not stated in the app that it was 2 floors. The water in the bathroom is slow, not strong stream There is only one light on/off switch in front of the bathroom. ( none next to bed ) But overall, the room isn't bad. You can take your cat with you."

The lady at reception organised us a whole morning of activities with a personal tuk tuk and when we returned our taxi to Bangkok was already waiting. "The owners make us felt at home. The old couple who managed this are so friendly and I love their Thai style fish congee for breakfast. Their son is also very kind. He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night. He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station. "Good location, quiet, away from the main tourist area but still close enough to get here. Not too easy to find at the beginning if you follow Google map. Suggest can put a direction sign on the car park. Room was clean but there are quite a lot of ants around also on the bed, I had to put some insects spray on it before I sleep. Nice individual cabin, can borrow a hair dryer from reception if you need. Staffs are nice, friendly and helpful."

"Baan Chompoo Homestay is very clean and only 5 minutes walk to Amphawa Floating market. Breakfast was reasonable though not the best shower we had, but we were happy with out stay. You can catch songtheaw (public open ute) from across the road to go to Maeklong train market for 8baht per person so very cheap. No taxi available, however private car to Bangkok about 1200baht - The owner was nice to call and organise one when we requested."
