"My friend and I found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location but an easy walk to the centre of Alnwick, the castle and gardens. Lovely fresh bread at the Lidl, a minute's walk away! Only about 10-15 mins from the beautiful Northumbian coastal path and beaches. Would certainly stay here again."

"Had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights. The location is ideal, really close to the high street with shops, cafes and pubs. The welcome basket and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. We will definitely stay again and have recommended to friends."

"Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended."

"Lovely small house which was perfect for us , en suites were great , beds really comfortable , kitchen was fully equipped , comfy sofas and only 10 minutes walk to the beach . Heating was set so the house was lovely and warm on arrival , great as it was icy outside . One small twist was the size of the tv , not small but not what most people are used to but not the end of the world ."

"The property was excellent and near the harbour so in easy reach of everything. With really nice pubs, restaurants and takeaways we were spoilt for choice for food. Bonus was the kippers at the other end of the road. Will definitely look to stay at the property again. Loved the property, situation and the surrounding area."

"We enjoyed being beside the sea. What the weather wasn't great we walked the coastal path to Alnmouth and cycled to Craster. The cottage was warm and perfect for relaxing after a long day outside. We cooked meals together for seven of us and enjoyed board games in the evenings."

The property was clean and had all the facilities that you need, nicely furnished, comfy beds, great powerful shower. Plenty of games, videos, and TV (2). "We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future."

"The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. We are not feeble but it was almost impossible to slide due to being very heavy and stiff. The room itself smelt very strong of wood smoke from the chimnea, we did not use it during our stay. Also, the couch was extremely stained, i assume from people sitting on it when wet after using the hottub. It...
