Sha ,the property manager, was in communication with us and on top of the issues we experienced. The road was flooded and our rental car company refused to allow us to drive our road, so she arranged that we had a truck to get us back and forth. "

"Susan's place is such a wonderful find! If you're looking for a remote island vacation away from the crowds on Provo, this is the place! There are two main beaches on Middle Caicos -- Dragon Cay beach and Bambarra beach (which is a 3 min drive from this rental). We preferred Bambarra beach since it is quieter and the waves are gentler, so this rental was perfect for that. Getting here wasn't super hard -- from the Provo airport, you can take a shared taxi to the ferry (30 min), a ferry (30-40 min) and then pick up a rental car right outside the ferry to drive to the rental (50-60 minute drive). Susan gave very detailed instructions for finding the place and the address is marked on the main road (may also benefit from coordinates). The rental has EVERYTHING you need, a well stocked kitchen with utensils, knives and some spices. We brought a lot of what we wanted to eat from our grocery store at home and supplemented with Dard's grocery store (which is on the way from the ferry to this rental). In addition, the place is well stocked with beach equipment, including chairs, beach towels, multiple blankets, snorkling gear, and even sunscreen if you're running low. AC works well if you need it and a clean home. And the stars at night are beautiful! "

"The Royal Hideaway on Middle Caicos is wonderful 2 bedroom place to stay. The 2 bedrooms are on the main floor and the kitchen and living room are upstairs. The beach is short walk, about 250 yards. We only stayed 2 nights and did not have a chance to use the bikes or kayaks. Next time we will plan to stay more days on Middle Caicos. We would bring more cash next time for the beach bar and restaurant."

"This island and beach are so remote, it feels all yours. The listing is accurate and we highly recommend this property. Cynthia, the owner, was prompt and detailed in her responses to our questions and her “on-site manager”, Mac, was great. I highly recommend this property. More details for interested visitors below…IF YOU PLAN TO STAY, it’s helpful to keep these details in mind, about which the owner was very helpful and forthcoming.- Ferry from Providentials to get to North Caicos (NC), which is PEOPLE ONLY. If you plan to have a car to explore North & Middle Caicos, you can rent them right where the ferry docks. Cynthia can provide more helpful details.- NC is REMOTE. Shops and gas stations are extremely rustic and sparsely stocked, so plan to pack grocery bags and hit the main grocery store (IGA) on your way to the ferry. Bring insulated bags for cold items.- Taxi in the airport line will take you to shop at the store on their way to taking you to the ferry. It will cost extra and the price is subjectively decided by the driver at drop off. Just go with it and get used to it. My guess is 100 - 150.- Barracuda Bar is walkable from the house and is the only on-water restaurant on NC.- Bring lots of USD. AMEX is rare. Visa is usually accepted. Meals out can be 250. Not all marked restaurants/resorts are open and hours change. - Mac w/ B&B is a great resource while on NC- A/C costs extra.- Fresh water pool 3- Bugs at house only at dusk/dawn when no breeze."

"It’s a perfect house for a quiet and peaceful gateway. The property managers are very responsive and helpful. The house is very clean and very well equipped. The beach is so private, with very few people here and there. Loved our stay so much !!"

"Truly a wonderful experience. North Caicos is a place where everyone is glad to see you and loves to laugh. Kadra was a wonderful property manager and was responsive and made excellent recommendations as to beaches, restaurants and excursions. The house is super remote and you have total privacy. We kayaked, fished, but mostly soaked in the sun and the warm breeze. Beds very comfortable, hot water takes a minute to get there buts great, pool cold but refreshing, A/C excellent. The beaches in north Caicos are gorgeous and practically empty. If you want get away and recharge, this is the place. Thank you kadra, we will see you soon!"
