"While this property is older, they have done a great job with making it look nice, welcoming, and appealing. The staff was so friendly and would make it a priority to say Hello when they saw you. The bartender and waitresses would remember our room and drinks to have ready for us when we asked. The view from the oceanfront rooms was breathtaking. You can sit on your private space to read, enjoy the sound of the waves just beyond, or even take a nap. They have a little tub of water to help clean off your feet before going into your room, and a mat just inside to wipe your feet on too. Breakfast was served to our room daily at the time we’d request, and they were always on time (even on the days the time was changed by us). The food at the Barracuda Bar was delicious, freshly made, and was convenient to just have charged to the room. The only place I’d recommend some updates is for better water pressure for the shower, but I understand theres only so much that can be done about that. I was very thankful for a hot shower to take nightly. I’d also recommend a little rinse off station after coming off the beach, and not just the tubs at each of the rooms. But again, I’m thankful they at least had that option. Overall this was a 5/5 for my wife and I. This was our first trip to the islands and it was very nice go have a place where there weren’t a ton of people, it was quiet, and you truly could peacefully relax all day. "

"This is are 3rd time staying at Datai Villa. The location is wonderful, not far from restaurants and grocery stores. The beach is sandy and beautiful. Waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean and the beautiful view is priceless. The owner and property manager are amazing. Very good communication, they want to make sure your stay is wonderful. We will be back again. Some tips if you do travel to North Caicos rent a car so uou can drive to all the beautiful beaches and go to the local restaurants the food is amazing!! We did a private charter through Carribean crusin and had Captain Jerry he made the day fun, we saw sea turtles, sharks and a dolphin. We love this villa! It is also family friendly if you have children. You can't beat the location! "

"This island and beach are so remote, it feels all yours. The listing is accurate and we highly recommend this property. Cynthia, the owner, was prompt and detailed in her responses to our questions and her “on-site manager”, Mac, was great. I highly recommend this property. More details for interested visitors below…IF YOU PLAN TO STAY, it’s helpful to keep these details in mind, about which the owner was very helpful and forthcoming.- Ferry from Providentials to get to North Caicos (NC), which is PEOPLE ONLY. If you plan to have a car to explore North & Middle Caicos, you can rent them right where the ferry docks. Cynthia can provide more helpful details.- NC is REMOTE. Shops and gas stations are extremely rustic and sparsely stocked, so plan to pack grocery bags and hit the main grocery store (IGA) on your way to the ferry. Bring insulated bags for cold items.- Taxi in the airport line will take you to shop at the store on their way to taking you to the ferry. It will cost extra and the price is subjectively decided by the driver at drop off. Just go with it and get used to it. My guess is 100 - 150.- Barracuda Bar is walkable from the house and is the only on-water restaurant on NC.- Bring lots of USD. AMEX is rare. Visa is usually accepted. Meals out can be 250. Not all marked restaurants/resorts are open and hours change. - Mac w/ B&B is a great resource while on NC- A/C costs extra.- Fresh water pool 3- Bugs at house only at dusk/dawn when no breeze."

"Our family of five, boys ages 15-21, spent a wonderful week here at Whale Watch over Christmas. This was our first time traveling over the holiday and it did not disappoint. The house was perfect for us. We loved how close we were to the beach. The boys enjoyed fishing & snorkeling. The hidden beach is just amazing and it was great having Mudjin Beach Bar right there for lunch or even the dinner option a few days a week. We enjoyed having the plunge pool and the spectacular view from the porch and patio. We would love to come back again in the future! Definitely a more remote vacation but was exactly what we were looking for!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is spectacular and very clean. My kids loved the infinity pool and all the beach toys. We took out the kayaks and paddle boards daily. We saw sting rays right off the beach. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all the amenities. The beds are comfortable. My kids only complaint was that there was only one TV, but that was a plus in my opinion. More family time."

"The property is stunning, back steps right on a beautiful and quiet beach. Exactly what we were after for a relaxing family vacation where we could disconnect. The house is updated and was very comfortable for the five of us. Fun tiki bar and restaurant about a 15 minute walk down the beach. And we found the local groceries and restaurants to be adequate for our needs. "

"Truly a wonderful experience. North Caicos is a place where everyone is glad to see you and loves to laugh. Kadra was a wonderful property manager and was responsive and made excellent recommendations as to beaches, restaurants and excursions. The house is super remote and you have total privacy. We kayaked, fished, but mostly soaked in the sun and the warm breeze. Beds very comfortable, hot water takes a minute to get there buts great, pool cold but refreshing, A/C excellent. The beaches in north Caicos are gorgeous and practically empty. If you want get away and recharge, this is the place. Thank you kadra, we will see you soon!"

"I can’t say enough about our trip to North Caicos and this particular villa. First of all, the management company really takes care of you. They reached out to us months in advance to arrange for airport transport and provisioning. When we missed our ferry they arranged for a private charter and saved the day!The villa itself is stunning - we felt like we were looking out at a postcard every day. The location is central. The beach is rocky but you can easily walk to a sandy beach. Would stay here again!"
