"An excellent value for the location in Old Town and amenities! "The property is spacious with loads of cupboard space. It is ideal for a family or friends get together. The location is in a quiet residential area, but proximity to the Euroairport and Basel makes it an ideal base. A good supermarket is only three minutes away for food and other supplies."

"Auf den Bildern sah die Unterkunft ok aus. Entweder waren die Bilder alt oder es war gut fotografiert. Dort angekommen war ich erstmal geschockt... Die Sauberkeit lies zu wünschen übrig. Zudem sehr abgewohnt und teilweise kaputt. Gegen alt habe ich nichts aber ganz sollte es schon sein. Schmutzige Töpfe, dreckige Schränke, in der Waschmaschine wollte ich auch nichts waschen... Die Umgebung war jetzt auch nicht das optimale. Wir haben das Beste draus gemacht aber werden sicher nicht wieder...

"Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. But it invited some bugs too.. and noise of trams& cars passing by. Extra towels would have been helpful, we had to wash...

Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. "Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."
