"Our room was wonderful - clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. The top pool area was restful. There was no restaurant facility and the trek to and from the Fairmont Hotel tiresome, having to wait for both a buggy and minibus to get us from the Lodge to the Hotel and vice versa."

"Excellent beachfront location. Rooms are tired though and need a bit of an upgrade for the star rating of the hotel and price you pay. It was also very busy with external guests booking events, so we felt 'watched' when we were at the pool. They could do with sectioning off the two sides and only allowing day visitos on the reception side of the hotel and residents on the other."

"I stayed 4 nights at hotel Izulu and it was the BEST accommodations I have ever experienced. The hospitality , location , rooms and all amenities truly are world class. The food is AMAZING! We dined for breakfast, lunch and 2 night in the restaurant. We had a dinner designed and created for us that I have never experienced anything like. Every single member of the staff had only our comfort and happiness in mind and they exceeded my expectations. There were so many little extra touches they did...

"Although my expedia reservation clearly stated 'room', what was available for me was a tent (containing two beds). I arrived too late to go elsewhere. It was disconcerting to hear drunk male tourists stumbling around the tent when I was trying to sleep without being able to lock the door (zipper). The hotel staff were perfectly friendly but nowhere to be found within an hour of checking in. It was an extremely uncomfortable, noisy, and unpleasant night. I expect for groups looking for budget...
