"Stayed at the cabin for 4 days. It's a great cabin in the woods by the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. We went for a morning kayak right from their beach on the lake which was a great way to experience the lake. The cabin is super cozy and has a beautiful deck with a view of the lake. They have thought of many great little touches like a bottle of local wine, a jar of local jelly and lots of snacks. Would definitely stay again."

"The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. "

"Was a lovely little cabin. Very clean and homey. It was very quiet in the evening so you could the frogs. The outside was nice but there were lots of wasps. They did have traps out but think it was just the year for them as they wear ever where. Never made it to the lake so can not say about that. But we did enjoy the peace and quiet"

"This was an amazing stay! We got the feeling of camping with the luxury of a comfortable bed, kitchen, fridge and warm showers! We caught a few white fish off the bank—enough for us to have supper and breakfast. Nice people, gorgeous view and good fishing."

"The cabin is lovely. The kitchen is fantastic, well-equipped, and laid out beautifully. The Smeg fridge is lovely and retro and surprisingly holds a lot of food. The dishes/pottery are exceptional. The pots and pans etc are excellent, and a lot of them. The island is enormous, which is great. The bed is memory foam and unbelievably comfortable. The cabin was spotless. "12 of us stayed for 3 nights, celebrating an 80th birthday. A perfect place for a family get together. 6 teenage kids were so happy with the pool table, foosball, the huge TV with the comfy couch for watching movies, and the fire pit.
