"Compact, quiet 2 bed apartment, on outskirts of town, with parking and pool. There was a very steep hill down to town, no problem for us, but, still needed to pause for breath on way up! Beach walkable too. Restaurants very reasonable compared with Palermo/Gardini Naxos"

"The apartment was well prepared and spotlessly clean, and we were welcomed warmly by Angela. There was also some free essential supplies on the kitchen table including excellent coffee! Only about 100m from the beach (and 2 superb pizzeria ristorantes), it was also an easy drive or gentle walk from Balestrate. "Sicily is an amazing town but the accomodation at the villa was the worst ever. Starting with the basic cleaning status of the villa, the toilet is teribble very very old . The shower is compeltely rusted.. there is no garabage bin (which is considered a basic thing). The surrounding area without a car is unsafe due to dangerous free dogs, although we were not informed about that. The tenant is not honest at all especially regarding electricity consumption.
