"From the moment I walked into the place I felt at peace. It was quiet, very clean, The bed was the most comfortable ever and I have to find out where the pillows came from because they were sososo comfortable. Great communication with the host. I didn’t get to enjoy the outside like I probably would have if it hadn’t rained, but it was still beautiful as ever. There was a Genes grocery store very nice people. The Trading post was very nice, as well as the people. I just came to relax an walk...

"This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect...

"Our stay was related to fishing the nearby Muskegon River so did not use many of the properties/lake features. great place. very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were great. Did not use the lake but the location on the lake looks great. "
