"Excellent quiet location set away from the city with vineyard views. Outstanding restaurant and character bar - wonderful prices after the bigger cities. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. "My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. "We weren't allowed to use the pool, hot tub or sauna, priority guven to a wedding reception. Some mosquitoes were aound and Japanese beetles. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Villa was nice."

"We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. "5 girlfriends stayed for a week and it was fabulous ~ We were greeted with a tray of cannelloni’s on the dining room table! The house was clean and spacious. A very quiet country location.
