This particular winery is Oller del Mas, which was actually originally a castle. Today, it's both a castle and a vineyard. Go all the way up to the top to take in spectacular views at sunset of the surrounding countryside and fields of grapevines. The mountain in the distance is Montserrat, which translates to "serrated mountain" because of its spiky rock formations. Oller del Mas is located in Manresa, a city an hour's drive outside of Barcelona. Trains run regularly, and take about an hour and a half to get there.

The Castle of Cardona is arguably the most important medieval fortress in Catalonia and one of the most important in Spain. It is situated on a hill overlooking the river valley of the Cardener and the town of Cardona. The fortress was initially constructed by Wilfred the Hairy in 886. It is in both the Romanesque and Gothic styles, and includes the so-called Sala Dorada and Sala dels Entresols.

"Ely at the front desk is the best you can get in BCN. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Everything was seamless from booking to check out. Grocery store is a 2min walk, train station is a 10min walk, Parc Guell is also down the road. a lot of food and coffee options. Very safe to walk at night. Just a minor recommendation would be to add shelves and hooks in the bathroom so it's easier to store toiletries. "

"The check-in process is a hassel and I was not aware of the additional 95€ cleaning fee due when you check-in. I came for the pool but it had no water in it. My key card stopped working and I was locked out of my room with no wallet, phone, or money. A terrifying experience all because the battery died on the card scanner."
