"This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. "Thanks Dotties house for a 10/10 stay in Hobart. The accommodation was clean, spacious and felt like we were staying at home. The teens (and husband) enjoyed the games room, basketball hoop and Wii. Grocery shops within walking distance. Ticked all the boxes for our family of four. "

Very close to the local shopping centre and food outlets. The table tennis table in the game room was given a good workout by all of us. "We recently stayed here as two families with kids, and overall, it was a nice experience! The upstairs part of the house was spacious and well laid out. The split-level design did make the rest of the house feel a bit different, and the steep driveway took some getting used to. However, the stunning views more than made up for it. "Fantastic views of the Derwent River and bridge from both the lounge and kitchen. The property itself was old and tired and in need of updating. No instructions on how to work oven, microwave etc. It had been cleaned prifessionally but not very well, a dust, hoover and wipe down of surfaces. There were cobwebs up and down. We also had problems gaining entry to the property (even though the rental was fully paud for) due to a very stubborn letting agent."

"This lovely cottage lived up to our expectations. So charming, cosy, full of character. The views from front yard and top of the backyard are incredible. Great neighbourhood, close to everything in the city including Salamanca market, Battery Point, the wharf, cafes, shops, galleries. We loved the extra little touches in the cottage like the throw blankets in the basket in lounge room. The kitchen was perfect size for the 5 of us."
