"Very clean, nice location, efficient and courteous staff. Unfortunately, out of the many daily activities advertised on the website, almost none took place, and the mini club was basically just sitting the children down and make them colour/paint. The swimming pool was always very very busy, and because of the heat, the lake level was very low, it was not very inviting, and no canoe or kayaks were available for hire. The internal mini-market is very expensive. All in all it's a nice place, maybe...

"Wonderful quiet and clean hotel in a great location to explore many beautiful hill towns in Umbria and Tuscany. Breakfast buffet was amazing and, like all services at the hotel, was very friendly and efficient. Citta della Pieve is an attractive and surprisingly interesting hill town which projects a genuine feel for life in Umbria with relatively few tourists. Unfortunately, without any prior notice from the hotel or from Expedia, we were told that the restaurant was closed for dinner, but that breakfast would be served as normal in the morning. The owners, however, were very helpful to suggest an alternative restaurant within a couple of minutes walking distance where we were able to have a pleasant dinner."
