"This hotel truly lives up to its name of being Grand! It's huge and is quite exclusive but close enough to the main part of the city. It offered a free shuttle thought the day to get to Yuanshan MRT station or you can climb down from the side of the hill the hotel is located on and reach the Jiantan MRT station. This historic hotel makes you feel like you are living like a Chinese noble and yet you also feel like you're living in a museum because of its legacy with Chiang's family. Highly recommend! "

"I have stayed at Illume Taipei many times and I continue to come back whenever I need a place to stay in Taipei. The property is modern, clean and very welcoming.
