"Adelboden is amazing"

"We have stayed here a number of times because it is right across the street from the historic cathedral and and easy walk to the Old City down below. They have paid parking but if you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you. "

"On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted warmly, given information about our stay and the Winter Garden for coffee etc. The room, whilst compact, was comfortable, and cleaned daily, bed turned and even though advised about not refreshing towels, was also done daily. The breakfast was continental, fresh and plenty full, which made a good start to the day. The location was good, a ten minute walk to the station, which is well connected for travel in the area. Thun itself is nice location, with quite a few things to do, before venturing further afield to Interlaken or further still."

"Lovely property and great staff. There is a bus stop near by and they also help shuttle you to the Gstaad train stop. They have a lot of small touches that you don’t find often these days (like in room breakfast option, water and nuts upon arrival. Would stay again for sure! "

"Thomas is an amazing host, as from the get go he was very responsive & helpful with any queries. The Chalet Barbara is a truly magical place and the family history attached to it makes is even more special! The hike up there is a bit of a challenge with luggage if you are on foot, as we had to climb during very heavy rain - but the views certainly makes it all worth it. Stay here if you get the chance - you are sure to love it! :) "

"Amazing location, the man in the evening was absolutely amazing!! He gave us direction and things too see, I wish we met him on arrival we wasted a whole morning wandering around, Because the female in the morning gave us no direction or map just said to come back later in the afternoon and your room will be ready. The female is the morning, not helpful at all. "

"We absolutely fell in love with this area and felt at home straight away - and so much of that is due to how wonderful Hotel Wasserfall was. Comfortable, quiet, perfectly located, friendly staff, beautiful food - we couldn't ask for more. We will happily book here again next time we come to Switzerland. Many thanks!"
