"Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. No one on reception when we got there on Friday Dec 27th but after ringing a phone number and leaving a message we were greeted by the owners son. We were asked if we wanted a meal that night or breakfast in the morning which we didnt need. It would have been nice to visit the bar on Friday pm but we found it closed at 9:45pm when we tried to visit it. Maybe it would be open later a different day or in the summer. A pleasant stay if you want to stay in your room."

"Very efficient check in where I was met with a smile. Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and the price was very resonable. Food was good as was the service. "

"I stopped for one night on business and found it to be a real gem. Lovely friendly team and amazing restaurant with high end menu choices and very well cheffed food. It was Tuesday evening and they looked fully booked for food which said a lot to me. Great selection of beers too. Parking on site was free and had a lovely breakfast in the morning nd great chat with the owner in relation to its aerospace connections. Overall would stay again 100%"
