"The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems."

"It's a budget property, in a less than popular area, close the the midi station and a short walk to everything in the city centre. The out of hours arrangement was perfectly ok, though getting through the front door was challenging. All the icons were rubbed out, so makes it difficult to press the right keys, but they've promised to replace the key pad. Sadly the WiFi was none existent, pretty poor when all cafés and centres have copious WiFi in this developed city!! But sadly not at Smartflats...

The bathroom glass makes privacy an issue if you are not a couple, and as noted on many other reviews, the shower gets water all over the glory. Those small bathroom issues would not sway us from staying here again though. We loved the property and the vibe of the place. They have done an incredible job with preserving it.
