"The apartment was clean and well equipped for our 4 night stay. The owners were friendly and helpful and sent useful information in advance.The property was in the perfect location with good bars restaurants and shops within a couple of minutes walk. We found that we could easily walk to museums, parks etc. Amsterdam is a beautiful city and the local people were friendly and welcome. The property is in a quiet residential street so it is not noisy at night"

"We loved EVERYTHING. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"This was a nightmare from start to finish. The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. When we arrived there was dirty underwear, dirty bedding, full garbage bins, a huge leak in the living room, 0 toilet paper, no shampoo, soap or coffee. They promised to get it cleaned which they did while we were out at dinner but the...

"We arrived in Amsterdam as the final leg of a 17 day European vacation. Check in and out was easy, Edwin was a wealth of info and the home is spotless. We happened to be there one day that the weather was horrible - cold, rain and VERY high winds,,,a perfect crash day for us to stay inside and rest. Comfy beds. Walking distance from the central train station and a grocery store nearby. "

The neighborhood is amazing and there is a nice restaurant close. The property was very quiet and well-maintained. The locals were super friendly and travel to Amsterdam Central was super easy. "Property was perfect for our situation. Not in the crazy or expensive city center but close enough to grab transportation to it fairly easily. (Someone could have warned us it was King’s Day - crazy party beyond belief- while we were there but that’s not on the property).
