"I stayed here when I spent a few days in Bilbao after a running trip in the Picos. The apartment included everything I needed for a great stay: comfortable bed, warm shower, kitchen supplies, etc. The location is good. About 800 meters from historic buildings, all the bars and restaurants of old town, and the open air market. Bilbao is a nice walkable city, with excellent public transit, so getting to the Guggenheim and other attractions is easy. I walked there so I could admire the scenery...

"Excellent accommodation - the house is well presented and full of character. There is plenty of space and it is well equipped. It is in a small village accessed up a winding mountain road. The area is rural and unspoilt, and popular with hikers and cyclists. The house was an ideal place from which to explore locally and farther afield, including Bilbao and Santander."

"La procédure d’arrivée était complexe, communication pas très aisée avec le gérant car ne parlait pas français. La maison était très propre. Quelques bémols, concernant la vaisselle, les ustensiles, la maison n’est pas assez fournie. Cafetière trop petite pour 8. Cuisinière à gaz dans une Location ce n’est pas l’idéal avec la bouteille de gaz dans la cuisine. "La vue de la terrasse est vraiment exceptionnelle. Le petit studio mis à notre disposition est vraiment bien pour deux personnes. En plus, le ménage était fait chaque jour. Les nuits sont très calmes. Possibilité de prendre un copieux petit-déjeuner le matin. Cette localisation nous a permis de découvrir les petits ports de la côte Basque, mais aussi l'intérieur des terres. Bilbao est à un peu plus d'une heure, parfait pour visiter le musée Guggenheim. Pour finir, notre hôtesse était charmante....

"Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance. But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. Great standard of the apparment and accessories that was provided. Walking distance beautiful Old town of Bilbao, Museums, restaurants etc."

"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again. "
