"We stayed in the King Ensuite room and found it perfect for our needs. Had a bar fridge and jug in our room which was handy. Also handy having shower gel and shampoo and conditioner supplied. Bed was comfortable. TV with chromecast was a bonus to watch the Warriors and All Blacks games. And the location was very convenient for dining out, we wandered the town to explore the dining options every evening. Unfortunately at the time of our stay, the elevator was out of service and the bathroom fan...

"The new paint? and new carpet smells were very strong and I had a headache from the offgassing. Great kitchen- well stocked and great systems. The bunks are bunks- my top mate moved so much and shook my bed, I didn't sleep well for a couple of the nights I was there. Loved the recommendations they have all over. Excellent hostel."

"False advertising. Rude staff. Beds with one small blanket in winter. Old building and freezing cold-no insulation. Bathroom tap didn't turn on. Booked for 3 nights, thinking it had a private bathroom as advertised. Upon check in found out no room had private bathroom. All shared. Refused to refund me any money. Even after showing them the advertisement online. Didn't stay and booked elsewhere. Only parking available is pay and display down the road that is more expensive than the room itself. "

"We booked this property because it was a handy location, unfortunately we had also booked it because it said we could have 3 separate beds and because I was booking it for 3 students that didn't really know each other it was appropriate they have their own beds. I have just been told they were only provided with a double and single bed. This has put me in a rather awkward position. They were not confident to ask for this to be changed."
