Lands End Boutique Hotel

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (164)
"Great little boutique hotel. More like a bed and breakfast. Staff were fantastic. The location is quiet with views of the lake. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake are with the restaurants and pubs. The rooms were large and clean but not the most modern. Continental breakfast was included and was very good. Parking is tight. We loved the hotel and returned for 2 additional nights during our stay"

Villa Rouge B&B

4.5 star property

"This place was beautiful, comfortable and wonderfully outfitted with lovely linens and decor. It’s very private and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a very easy short walk to a beautiful park with trails, sculptures and a rose garden. In addition there’s a wonderful restaurant very nearby called Buster Crabb. Homemade breakfast was terrific including yogurt, fruit, granola, eggs with bacon and toast….and excellent flat white coffee. Most importantly, the hosts were so warm and...

Beersheba Estate

4.5 star property

"The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. The ducks outside were very noisy all night which was a bit disturbing. Overall however a different...

"Nice little place tucked away out of the way, however just had a pretty mediocre welcoming at first as we went to check in around 3.30pm then got told that the owner of the business was away and hadn't mentioned about our stay and that we would need to return around 5pm to check in (Had been driving all day and just felt like a bit of a rest to be honest). Then wasn't able to find our booking which made us feel like a bit of a nuisance to be fair. However at the end of the day Kevin was super...

"The fact that breakfast was included for the price I thought was value for money. The owner was very welcoming. It felt more like a home from home. Beds and pillows were very comfortable."

Quest Invercargill Serviced Apartments

4.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (559)
"The apartment we stayed in was great. It was much more spacious than I expected and had everything we needed. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit to catch up on laundry during our trip around the south island. My wife was bothered by the incense or scented oil smell they used here. It was on the excessive side. The parking was also not ideal. They do have 'on-site' parking near the hotel entrance but it's a very small lot. We were given a pass but left to go explore some areas and came...
