Everything was fantastic, essentials available from reception though 'town' only few minutes drive. Surprised had to pay for warm shower ($1). Would definitely go back, would like to live there :)"

"This is a lovely family property with amenities for all types of travelers. Many families and with dogs enjoy the property. For us, we were there to bird the Findlay reserve, and this was the perfect spot. We rented the full self contained unit, and brough groceries with us. "

"We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away."
