The house is convenient to the mountains, waterfalls and swimming holes, as well as grocery stores and ice cream spots (a MUST for any Maine vacation!). "

"The code never worked for us to get into the place so we needed assistance when we arrived and each time we left and needed to get back in, which required us to sit in our vehicles and wait for help and access. I can say the when we called for supplies because the bathrooms & kitchen weren’t stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. and to ask for a lobster pot, maintenance responded extremely quick and we’re very helpful! Having enough towels for 12 people, and having more cooking...

"The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. "

"We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!"

"Had an overall wonderful 3 night stay! The cabin is super cute and cozy with everything you’d want for a weekend away. Everything was very clean, well kept, and stocked with necessities. It is off-grid so expect to put some work in to be comfortable (but that’s kind of the point haha). The fire was awesome and kept us very warm the whole time despite it being mid January.
