"The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Bed, pillows and quilts were comfortable and the extra fleece blanket kept me warm through the winter nights without having to turn on the heaters. Shower space was a bit small, but individual hot water tank for the room gave a steady flow of hot water. Enjoyable stay overall with the basic kitchen in my queen studio."

If younhave a car, 2 parking lots within a couple blocks either way. Be aware that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator (typical for the older buildings downtown). "Beautiful historic property in excellent condition. Excellent breakfast, super location. Only problem is noise on the side of the hotel facing the courtyard and bar. Could not sleep until the bar shut down our first night. Staff conveniently allowed us to move to a room on the other side of the hotel. No noise problem on that side. "
