"Overall our takeaway was the excellent assistance provided by the front desk staff. The breakfast also was truly amazing. However our double standard room was very Basic and the bed so close to the window my husband had a difficult time navigating without hitting the wall that juts out from window. The carpeting needs to be upgraded as it’s worn at the entry point. The shower in the tub a little harder to access and the partial smaller glass door enclosure does not keep water from spraying...

"This is a charming little hotel - a bit offbeat, artsy, welcoming and in a wonderful location. Sabine, the proprietress, couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations and dinner reservations. While not a full service hotel (ie, no restaurant, lobby or 24-hour reception desk) it was perfect as a homey stay for a few nights in the heart of town."
