"We were there for 2 weeks beginning mid January 2025. Weather was hot and sunny every day. Gorgeous beach. Good live music. Only negative was the canned music, not enough Costa Rican music, way too much country music."

"We spent 5 days in Tamarindo and really liked the Best Western. We had a small balcony, but didn't use that so much as the upstairs patio area that was near the pool. We could catch a breeze there when it was hot and in general it was a nice comfortable space to hang out when we weren't doing something outside the hotel area. Visitors should be aware that on Friday nights, there is a very loud party with music that does on until about 2 AM. We were not made aware of this until we arrived but it happens every Friday night, and it is loud enough to make the walls vibrate. We also had an air conditioner problem that couldn't be solved and it would work, then not work, then work again. Sometimes it got really hot inside the room. Staff was very nice and they kept trying, but we had to keep asking. The included daily breakfast was really good, and my husband loved it and he is pretty picky about breakfast. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay. Small issues, but a very nice staff, nice location, and pretty comfortable."

"Lovely stay, just what we wanted. We were surprised by the wildlife we saw just hanging by the pool! Very conveniently located next to a grocery store and multiple restaurant/bars - everything is very walkable "

"This property is right on the ocean and right in the middle of the strip - everything walkable. The room is basic & small but it was only a one night stop for us. If staying longer, I would look into the rooms with patio door walkout. Clean, Bathroom w/ a shower with great water pressure, TV, small fridge and toiletries. Free Parking & free breakfast was just a 5 minute walk away across the street at larger hotel owned by same owner. Breakfast was delicious & great coffee/juices - buffet but guy there to make eggs/omelets/crepes. Excellent price (for Tamarindo) for being right on the beach and free breakfast!"

"We stayed for seven days at this lovely hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful in booking transport to and from airport and our sunset cruise. We had a king bed that was comfortable. The hotel is right in the center of the action and across the street from the beach. The pool area was very cute, and the water was refreshing from the sun. It can get very noisy at night but a couple of more of margaritas helped to drown out the noise. Overall would recommend staying here."

"A beautiful oasis close to all the action of Tam. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were extra clean, patio with hammock was heaven. Pool area was quiet but allowed for chats with other guests. Would definitely recommend and will stay again."
