"We were in the area for a wedding in Percy. This apartment & downtown location in DuQuion was prefect for us. There was a mix-up on the entry code, but Alexis got back to us quickly and all was well. I would recommend eating at Alongi's Italian Restaurant. It's just a few doors down from the apartment. Food was great and if you're a Cardinal fan, you'll have fun looking at the wall pictures. We highly recommend this VRBO and will book again if we are ever back in this area. "

"This is a very clean and nice apartment within a very close drive to the Kinkaid boat launch. Easy to locate and can fit a car with a boat in tow no problem. This spot was also much more quiet than the campground or RV spots nearby. They have a great porch and a grill and we didn’t bring something for it which made me sad. "

"As you walk in, you don't know what to expect since the building used to be the old water department. However, the room was cute, clean and suited the purpose. "The location and room is absolutely awesome. It will be my default place to stay every time I come to Perryville. The disclaimer on the website says it may be noisy because of the restaurant and bar below. But we were there over a weekend and heard nothing from below. Huge upgrade compared to local hotels and the best restaurant in town with a huge beer selection is right below you. You will not be disappointed with this choice!"

"We took a quick trip to Southern Illinois to celebrate my wife's birthday, and ride the Tunnel Hill Bike Trail. The cabin was very clean, well supplied and comfy bed. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were perfect for relaxing after a day on the trail. A great cabin and area check it out! "

"I have nothing but gushing reviews for my Makanda Cabin stay. The cabin was easy to navigate to. When I opened the door I found a clean, comfortable, well appointed place, with two good size bedrooms, living room with fireplace, a bathroom stocked with plenty of towels and soap.
