"There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. "Beautiful Village,Hotel was well situated and had a good car park and Grounds. Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful.The Bar was small but comfy.The room was adequate and a large bathroom. We had the set meal for our evening meal ,we were asked if there's anything we didn't like ,and that was it 6 courses were serviced all individual ,tasty and filling.The wine was good no complaints. EXCELLENT Meal .Breakfast was good as well after a good nights sleep. We had the set meal"

"The room smelt of cigarette smoke and it was obviously a know issues as the window had been open as the room temperature was the same as out side. Other than that the staff were amazing and made my visit a pleasure. Warm smiles and welcoming whenever I passed, Even before I informed them of my problem. The manager should congratulate the staff on their customer service. "

"The château itself is a beautiful building. The room we were in, a comfort room, was perfectly fine. Bed was comfy and wide. Breakfast was OK, lovely fresh croissants, but expensive for what it was. "

The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. "I reserved this room because Expedia lists it as having AC. We stayed in Sept and there was no AC. Were told by the desk they turn it off in the fall. Expedia needs to specify this hotel may not have AC depending on the whim of the owner. Windows open with rain, bad weather, traffic and no bug screens. Pass on to another hotel with accurate description. "
