"The cabin was beautiful on a gorgeous mountain top. The owners provided everything necessary for our stay, including a fruit basket and two canned drinks in the refrigerator. I would have loved to use the outside fire pit, but the cool and wet weather kept us inside where it was warm and cozy."

"It was a nice stay and very unique. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The photos make the place look a bit newer than it is which was fine but we were expecting the place to be much more updated than it was. It still was great and really cozy. Our dog liked the area to run around and the neighbors were very far so it was private and quiet. We liked the smores but there were no smores sticks so we had to go get those which the store is pretty close so no biggie....

The bathhouse wasn’t a far walk and was very clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! Pet friendly as well, loved bringing my dog!"

"We had a great weekend! House was just what we needed and exceeded our expectations. We visited Mt Airy and Mt Pilot and even took a ride around in a replica Sheriffs car in “”Mayberry.” We took advice on eating at Little Richard’s BBQ and it was delicious. Hit a few of the other ma and pa restaurants and shops as well. The house and area was enough to keep our family of 6 well entertained and excited for our next trip to the mountains in the Fall. "
