"We booked afternoon tea, dinner and an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What most impressed us was the pacing of the whole experience. The 30-minute grace period meant we didn't feel rushed at all and we really enjoyed having a drink in the piano bar while choosing our options from the dinner menu, before being taken through to the restaurant. Also notable during our stay was the level of service and care taken by staff, who were always present, polite and able to handle requests with ease. All the food we had was delicious and our dietary requirements were catered for. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, as was the hotel in general (despite our visit coinciding with the Barbie Boozy Brunch!). We are eager to visit again with friends and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Marcliffe to others. Although it is expensive, we feel our experience exceeded our expectations and provided brilliant value for money."
