"There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"Gorgeous, bijou stone cottage full of charm within walking distance of Uzès. Outside sitting areas in a beautiful garden and shared use of pool with main, larger rental property. We were lucky that no one was renting the larger property during most of our stay but be aware that it's very close to it and no physical division so wouldn't be very private when otbers are there. I'd definitely come back."

"A very nice place to stay. Very private with no traffic noise. The property was to a very high standard and well equipped. Parking was very secure and easy. "Nice property, pretty much as advertised. Owners were very communicative, helpful & pleasant, check in & out easy. The bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need from breakfast to evening meal. It has a nice terrace outside, but we didn’t use it to eat out on as the wind was unusually strong while we were there. "The property is in a delightful spot next to the river. The trees outside provide excellent shade when needed. The property is well kitted out for everything you need and the air conditioning in the bedroom is really appreciated. A lovely place to unwind and relax."
