"The apartment was lovely with gorgeous views of the valley and a nice balcony. The dimensions of the rooms were perfect and well laid out. Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. "This hotel is nestled in a quiet area. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. A bakery (great for breakfast treats) was nearby. We could walk to many places and we were right on the bus line to get to the train (and by staying we were able to ride the bus free). Also, the staff helped us navigate the buses and walking around. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hotel Spalentor. "

"It was very unique being on the sixth floor, restaurant was beautiful, food and service excellent. Our room was perfect a d superclean, just had a very strong odor of either cleaning agent or spraying for something? That took away from the otherwise great room."

"A very nice property with friendly and attentive staff. Our room was large, lovely, and very well appointed. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had a spa-like feel with both rainfall and handheld showerheads with great water pressure. Wonderful after a long day of travel! The neighborhood was so quiet that we slept undisturbed with our windows open!"
