"This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...

"It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. "

"The cottage was very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to main routes. The interior decor was tasteful and the hospitality of the hostess was wonderful! She left us snacks, coffee, and flowers. The cottage was a little snug in the master bedroom but the King size bed was very comfortable. "This farm stay was all we hoped for. Beautiful accommodations, great bedding, well stocked kitchen and amazing views. Plus, the sheep, goats, llama, poultry, and gardens reminded us so much of our old farm in Iowa. We hope to return in the summer."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Portsmouth. The host was responsive and stayed in contact during the stay. Check in was easy and the location was perfect! We enjoyed beautiful sunsets each night and the fenced in yard was perfect for our younger guests. Quiet street and perfect for a family vacation!"
